Information - Ipswich Choral Society: Festive Performance

Step into the holiday spirit with us at 2 PM for a festive performance by the Ipswich Choral Society, a friendly mixed choir of around 100 members. It is England’s second oldest Choral Society, having been formed in 1824.

Whether you want to meet new people, dust off your singing skills or are looking to try something exciting and be challenged by a varied music repertoire, you’ll receive a very warm welcome from Ipswich Choral Society.

Ipswich Choral Society is delighted to perform a selection of traditional carols at Christchurch Mansion in their 200th anniversary year. The choir first sang in Christchurch Park in June 1837! Gather in the historic surroundings of the Great Hall for an afternoon of stirring music and festive cheer. This event is suitable for ages 5+
