Information - IMYA Planning: Pathways of the Past

Join us on 22nd July from 5:30 to 6:30 PM at Christchurch Mansion for an IMYA planning session.

This gathering is part of the Ipswich Museum Young Associates program, tailored for young enthusiasts aged 14-25.

Engage in a collaborative effort to encapsulate the essence of Ipswich into a compact, creative display. This session invites you to brainstorm and design a physical or conceptual ‘box’ that tells the story of Ipswich through artefacts, stories, and artistic expressions. It’s an ideal opportunity to contribute your unique perspectives and ideas to a project that blends history with creativity.

For helpful information, such as how to find us and what facilities the Mansion has, we recommend reading our Access information: Access at the Mansion | Ipswich Museums

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
