Happy Christmas Ipswich 6 – A Night of Comedy and Music for a Great Cause!

We’re excited to announce that Happy Christmas Ipswich, the much-loved comedy and music extravaganza, is back for its 6th year! Hosted by East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) with the wonderful support of celebrity patron Griff Rhys Jones, this event promises an unforgettable evening full of laughs and festive cheer.

Meet the Headliner: Tim Vine

Leading the star-studded bill is the brilliant Tim Vine, known far and wide for his clever puns, one-liners, witty songs, and amusing bag of props. Tim is not just a comedian but also an accomplished actor, writer, and presenter. You might remember him from the BBC comedy Not Going Out, or perhaps from his incredible Guinness World Record for telling the most jokes in an hour – a title he held for a decade!

Tim’s talent has been recognised with awards at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in both 2010 and 2014, so you’re in for a night of top-notch entertainment.

More Local Talent and Special Guests

Joining Griff Rhys Jones and Tim Vine on stage this year will be the extraordinary Royal Hospital School Drummers, Ipswich’s own sensational drumming group who will bring some amazing live rhythms to the show.

Each year, Happy Christmas Ipswich is a magical highlight in EACH’s fundraising calendar. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever, with a few delightful surprises along the way. Keep an eye out as more star names will be announced soon!

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
