Have you ever wanted to try your hand at DJing or mixing music in front of a live crowd, but felt a bit too intimidated to take the leap? Well, here is your perfect, pressure-free opportunity! The exciting collaboration between BTC (Brighten The Corners) and IPSLOOP is bringing a fantastic new event to town: Giv It A Spin.
What’s It All About?
Hosted at the wonderful venue, The Church, this is a super friendly, beginner-focused evening designed to give you a safe, supportive space to dip your toes into mixing. Whether you’ve been practicing in your bedroom or have never touched a deck before but have a killer playlist you want to share, this night is for you.
The golden rule of the night? It’s led by selection, not skill! Don’t worry about perfect transitions or complex scratches—this event is all about sharing great tunes. Any medium goes, so whether you want to play just a couple of tracks or a slightly longer set, you are incredibly welcome to take part.
