Information - GETNOTGOT / DJ Brandon Lane

If you are looking for a Saturday night filled with incredible live music and infectious energy, mark your calendars for Saturday 25th April. We are thrilled to see the fantastic GETNOTGOT bringing their unique sound to one of our favourite local venues, The Smokehouse.

Experience the Groove of GETNOTGOT

Rapidly establishing themselves as one of the UK’s must-see live bands, GETNOTGOT creates musical landscapes that are truly one-of-a-kind. Their sound is a brilliant fusion of classic Blue Note heritage mixed with contemporary acid-jazz nuances and a heavy dose of funk-fuelled energy. Whether you are a jazz aficionado or just love a beat that makes you want to move, this quintet is sure to deliver.

The band has been making waves across the jazz circuit, earning critical acclaim from the likes of Jazzwise, who noted how they “ramp up the groove!” Having spent 2025 playing roof-raising shows in London, Brighton, and beyond, they are now bringing that momentum back to Ipswich.

A Sneak Peek at New Music

This show is particularly exciting because the band is currently developing brand-new material for an upcoming release. By catching them in the first half of 2026, you’ll be among the first to hear these tracks as they evolve from raw concepts into finished masterpieces. It’s a rare chance to see the creative process in action while enjoying a world-class performance.

Support from DJ Brandon Lane

To keep the vibes going all night, the evening will also feature a set from DJ Brandon Lane. It’s the perfect pairing to ensure the energy stays high from the moment doors open until the final note of the night.

Venue and Accessibility

The Smokehouse is a fantastic, intimate space to experience live music. The venue is committed to being inclusive and offers step-free access throughout. The bar, main venue area, and accessible toilets are all located on a single floor. If you have any specific requirements to make your night more comfortable, the venue team is always happy to help—just get in touch with them before the event.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place
