Information - Gasoline Green / Jaded Teeth

Are you ready for an incredible night of live music right here in Ipswich? We have a fantastic gig lined up at one of our favourite independent venues that you won’t want to miss! On Friday 7th August 2026, The Smokehouse is hosting a wonderful double-bill featuring Colchester’s experimental pioneers Gasoline Green, with support from Suffolk’s very own indie-folk gems, Jaded Teeth.

Whether you’re a fan of adventurous indie rock, intimate folk, or warming Americana, this evening promises to take you on a beautiful musical journey. Here is everything you need to know about the acts and the night!

Meet the Artists

Gasoline Green

Heading over the border from Colchester, Gasoline Green blend experimental indie rock, folk, and alternative sounds into a style that is entirely their own. Led by the talented multi-instrumentalist Tyler Baker, the project takes inspiration from eclectic artists as varied as King Crimson, Swans, Richard Dawson, and Bob Dylan. You can expect incredibly thoughtful songwriting, adventurous arrangements, and songs that shift effortlessly between quiet, intimate folk moments and massive, expansive sonic landscapes. They are a must-see live act!

Jaded Teeth

Providing stellar support are Jaded Teeth, a wonderful indie-folk and Americana band hailing from right here in Suffolk. Taking influence from artists like Big Thief, Bella White, and Neil Young, lyricist and singer Indigo Spooner pairs up with guitarist and composer Jack Stanton to tell deeply moving stories of growth, heartbreak, religion, and childhood. Together, their synergy brings these stories to life over a rich, guitar-led soundscape that touches on elements of country to create a truly warming and elegant sound.
