Information - Finding Emo Presents: Bandjob

merging from the vibrant underground music scene, BalaClava is a dynamic punk band that delivers an electrifying fusion of raw energy and poignant commentary. With a sound that draws inspiration from heavyweights like Soft Play, Idles, Green Day, and Royal Blood, BalaClava has quickly made a name for themselves in the modern punk landscape.

Crashing into the South-East UK music scene in late 2023, “Surefire Punk-Rock Heros” The Fifth Flaw are reigniting the seemingly once lost raw, unfiltered, stomach-punching energy into modern music.

A sound which includes funky bass lines inspired by the likes of Red Hot Chili Peppers, relentless, stomach punching drumming drawing from the early works of Arctic Monkeys, this is a rhythm section that will have you struggling to feel the same after experiencing. Complimented by delicately crafted yet mercilessly played, skin shedding, string breaking guitar work drawing inspiration from My Chemical Romance and punk energy driven vocals, it’s hard not to love.

Happy September! are an Indie Rock band from Ipswich making original music in the style of bands like, The Wombats, Joy Division and The Strokes.

Forming through college connections and Webby’s infamous jam nights, this up and coming band with skill beyond their years has gone from opening for local stars Helix at the smokehouse to headlining it themselves. Filled with all the energy, enthusiasm and heartache you could want that is reflected in their songs, they never fail to get people jumping, dancing, and grieving lost relationships along with them

Jess Davey is a singer/songwriter from BSE now with her own talented band.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
