Information - Factory Floor

Are you ready to kick off your weekend with some incredible tunes? The legendary Factory Floor night is back, and it’s heading to one of our absolute favourite Ipswich venues. Mark your calendars for Friday 31st July 2026, because The Church is the place to be for a night of brilliant music and great company!

Whether you’re a die-hard vinyl head, a post-punk fan, or just looking for a fantastic Friday night out with friends, this event promises to deliver the ultimate pre-weekend vibe. And the best part? It’s completely free entry!

Post-Punk, New Wave & Leftfield Grooves

From 6pm right through to 10pm, the brilliant local DJs Matski + Lochness will be taking over the decks. They’ll be spinning a fantastic, genre-spanning mix of post-punk, new wave, and leftfield grooves all night long.

If you’re a fan of iconic, genre-defining sounds, you are in for an absolute treat. You can expect to hear classics and hidden gems from legendary artists such as:

  • New Order
  • Talking Heads
  • ESG
  • LCD Soundsystem
  • Happy Mondays
  • A Certain Ratio (ACR)
  • Talk Talk
  • Simple Minds
  • Gang of Four
  • Depeche Mode… and so many more!

A Welcoming Space for Everyone

The Church is known for its warm, inclusive atmosphere, and Factory Floor is open to music lovers of all ages. Please note that while younger music fans are very welcome, those aged 14–17 must be accompanied by an adult after 7:00pm.

The venue is also fully accessible. There is step-free access straight into the building, and the main venue space, the bar, and the accessible toilets are all located on one flat floor. If you have any specific requirements or need a bit of extra help to make your evening as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the venue team directly before you arrive.
