Equality in democracy: Overcoming barriers and improving political representation

Writer, academic and women’s rights activist Helen Pankhurst CBE, great-granddaughter of suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst and first Chancellor of the University of Suffolk will be in conversation with Lowestoft MP Jess Asato about improving political representation – past, present and future.

Jess will discuss her experience of being a woman in Parliament, including referencing her legal action against Elon Musk’s xAI after its chatbot Grok created fake sexualised images and videos of her.
