Dates & Times

Looks like there are no upcoming dates for this event.

Price £40 includes all tools and materials on the day. We will be working outside, so please dress suitably for the weather and wear stout footwear. If it is particularly cold we will be working in the historic Orangery, the last remaining part of the old Holywells mansion. Tea and coffee will be provided during the session (please bring your own mug). The Bishops Tearoom and Cafe in the stable block will be open all day, so why not pop in for tea afterward and take advantage of 10% off purchases when showing a valid event ticket. Places are non-refundable unless the course is cancelled. Suffolk Wildlife Trust reserves the right to cancel a course and, in these circumstances, will fully refund course fees.

Information - Dyeing with Trees

Join expert Fay Jones in Holywells’ park Orchard to make natural dyes from tree bark, then dye some fabric for your own projects.

Discover all the wild and wonderful dye plants in the park. Use locally gathered tree bark to dye a piece of fabric in 2 colours and make a wheel braid to take home with you.
