Free. Wednesdays 5.15pm–6.45pm, 23 September – 2 December 2026 (autumn term). Boys aged 11–18. Travel bursaries available to eligible participants. Book via DanceEast. Spring term runs 11 January – 27 March 2027 and summer term 26 April – 10 July 2027.
Information - DanceEast Boys Project
A free weekly movement company at DanceEast in Ipswich for boys aged 11–18.
What happens in a session
Members explore movement, build confidence, meet new friends, work with professional artists and perform. Sessions take in a range of styles including hip hop and contemporary, with chances to develop creatively and perform in unusual settings.
Getting there
The project is designed to reduce barriers that can stop boys from taking part, including stigma, fear, cost and location. Travel bursaries are available to eligible participants.

Free. Wednesdays, 5.15pm–6.45pm, from 23 September to 2 December 2026 (autumn term). For boys aged 11–18. Book through DanceEast.
