Information - Commemorations and celebrations for VE Day – evening

Join us on Thursday 8 May for a heartfelt and joyful tribute to the 80th celebration of VE Day.

11:00am – A moment of reflection and remembrance at the Cenotaph in Christchurch Park.

7:30pm to 10:00pm – An evening Celebration on the Cornhill, enjoy entertainment inspired by the era and witness a ceremonial beacon lighting to mark the occasion.

Get your vintage outfits ready, prepare to wave your flags, and come together in honour of the past and celebration of our community spirit.
