Information - Colour Run 2026

Our family-friendly fun run will be the most colourful event of the year by far, but this year, every burst of colour can carry even more meaning.

Whether you take part in memory of someone special, in support of a loved one, or simply to give back, your run can help create a lasting legacy.

Kick off the festivities at the start line with a spectacular Colour Extravaganza, giving each participant the chance to throw their own pot of colour powder up into the air to rain down over everyone; your free white t-shirt being the perfect canvas to decorate with colour, meaning and memories.

Choose to run, walk or jog our 1km, 2.5km or 5km routes and be met by Colour Bandits along the way to cover you in brightly coloured powder at various intervals. As you cross the finish line in a rainbow of colour, you will receive a celebratory finisher’s medal. The perfect moment to celebrate who you’re running for.

Embrace all the colour of the day with your free white t-shirt and sunglasses which will be given to you at the start line. The run is for all the family so we use coloured powder which is child-safe and environmentally friendly. Furry family members will need to sit this one out as dogs are not permitted at this event.

Make your run matter
We would love for you to fundraise at our Colour Run to support patients and staff when they need us most.

This year, we’re encouraging participants to fundraise in support of Colchester & Ipswich Hospitals Charity’s Time Garden Appeal, helping us build a calm and peaceful space for end-of-life patients and their loved ones, for when time truly matters.
