Information - Caring and Boundaries Workshop

Explore the nature of healthy boundaries within your caring relationship, understand what they are and why they’re important.

Caring relationships can become very complicated, especially when the person being cared-for is experiencing mental health or exhibiting challenging behaviour. It can be hard to keep track of where responsibilities begin and end, lives and identities can become entangled and any sense of personal identity, space and resources can be lost. If you’d like to explore ways to find some clarity about your own parameters, this workshop may be of help.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
