The Ipswich Windrush Society is very excited to announce that the 77th Anniversary will be a BIG WEEKEND of celebration and commemoration for the Windrush Generation – over two days!
- Saturday, 21st June: 12-5pm – We’re kicking things off at Landseer Park with a vibrant parade, live music on the big stage, stalls, and amazing food from around the world! Interested in joining us with a stall? Get in touch!
- Sunday, 22nd June: 12-4pm – The Sailmakers Shopping Centre in Ipswich town centre. Hosted by the talented @handgell from BBC Suffolk – don’t miss our fashion show, gospel choir, and DJ sets. Guest speakers will wrap up the weekend in style! @sailmakersBring your family and friends for a weekend filled with culture, rhythm, and community spirit.
