Information - An Evening with Russell Maliphant

Award-winning choreographer, Russell Maliphant, returns to DanceEast with a brand-new solo. This contemporary dance piece promises to be a visual feast of movement and light, developed with Panagiotis Tomaras (visual artist) and a musical world created especially for the show by long time collaborative partner Dana Fouras (composer).

Maliphant’s performance will be followed by two artfully created short films specifically made and shown for this medium. Featuring the exceptional Dance Fouras and Maliphant in vignettes originally created for maliphantworks3 at The Coronet Theatre, London, this will be the first showing since.

Following the films, there will be a conversation with Russell, where questions will be encouraged from the audience, so you can delve into his creative process and get to know him a little better.
