All-ages spoken word open mic event on Wednesday 19th February 2-5pm during half-term, at The Hive in Ipswich, supported by the Norfolk & Norwich Festival bursary artist scheme.
Come along and share a poem, story or joke, and find out more about the new series of spoken word open mics for under 25s starting in March.
This event is family-friendly and alcohol-free, and we’ll be keeping at least 50% of the spots available for young people to sign-up for.

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
