Information - Alison Moyet

We are absolutely thrilled to welcome the legendary Alison Moyet to our very own Regent Theatre for what promises to be an unforgettable night of electronic music!

Whether you’ve been a fan since the early eighties or discovered her more recent solo work, this tour is a must-see for anyone who loves that signature powerful voice and pioneering synth-pop sound.

A Rare Journey Through the Yazoo Catalogue

This isn’t just any concert; it’s a unique opportunity to dive deep into the Yazoo archives. While we all love hearing Alison’s biggest hits, much of the Yazoo material has rarely been performed live since their original tours in 1982 and 2008.

For one night only in Ipswich, you can experience the songs that defined an era. From the seminal tracks of Upstairs At Eric’s to the chart-topping hits from You And Me Both, it’s a rare chance to hear the music that propelled her to international stardom in a live setting.

Solo Electronica Gems

The evening doesn’t stop with the classics. Alison will also be performing selected tracks from her critically acclaimed solo albums, ‘the minutes’ and ‘Other’. These albums marked a triumphant return to her electronica roots, produced alongside the brilliant Guy Sigsworth. They are the perfect modern companions to her early Yazoo work, creating a seamless setlist of electronic masterpieces.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
