Information - Activ Ping Pong and Short Tennis Wednesdays at Gainsborough Sports Centre

Activ Ping Pong & Short Tennis

This session is a combination of Ping Pong and Short Tennis. Most of the group rotate between both sports – it’s great fun. Most of us have played Ping Pong at some point (although maybe not since Youth Club!). Short Tennis is an adapted version of Lawn Tennis, played on a badminton court with a low net, a softer, slower ball and an adapted racket. It’s how Bjorn Borg first learnt to play – do you remember him?

We are not a club, but we are a group of people who love to play a bit of sport and to enjoy each other’s company. The session is run by one of our experienced Session Facilitators.

We provide all of the equipment so don’t worry about bringing anything. Just wear comfortable, loose clothing and a pair of gym shoes/trainers. As with all of our sessions, beginners are very welcome to come along. No need to book.
