Information - Windrush 78 Heritage & Legacy Music Festival
The Ipswich Windrush Society returns with its much-loved Heritage & Legacy Music Festival on Saturday 20 June 2026 at Landseer Park, celebrating 78 years of the Windrush generation.
Following a hugely successful 2025 event, this year’s festival promises another vibrant day of live music, Caribbean food, local stalls and family-friendly activities, alongside opportunities to hear from Windrush elders and guest speakers.
The day begins with a community parade at 11am, starting and ending at Landseer Park (Clapgate Lane entrance), featuring a steel band and performances from MRD Dance.
From 12pm-5pm, the park will host the main festival, bringing together culture, community and celebration in the heart of Ipswich.
