Information - Wild in the Orchard

Enjoy a range of guided woodland activities whilst playing, creating and learning in Holywells Orchard.

Join us for a fun and friendly outdoor session for children aged 18 months to 5 years in the beautiful orchard at Holywells Park, Suffolk. These relaxed sessions are all about getting little ones outside to enjoy fresh air, nature and playful exploration together.

Meeting at Bishop’s Cafe, we will take a gentle walk to the orchard for engaging activities. Children can enjoy hands-on nature play in the mud kitchen, take part in a seasonal craft activity, and finish with a cosy story time together.

Please come dressed for the outdoors. Wellies, puddle suits and warm outdoor clothing are strongly recommended as sessions go ahead in most weather.

As a little treat, every grown-up receives a free hot drink from Bishop’s Café after the session.

Please note: this is a family session and parents and carers remain responsible for their children at all times. Babes in arms welcome to attend with their older siblings.

£8 per ticket ( 1x Adult and first child) £5 for an additional child.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
