Information - Wednesday Afternoon Ladies

Wednesday Afternoon Ladies

We are a small group of friendly and outgoing ladies in the 60 plus age group, who meet every Wednesday afternoon from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.

We are no longer able to afford speakers, but we keep ourselves entertained playing well-known games (beetle drives, quizzes, countdown and cards) and enjoying group outings to shows and theatres and meals out at regular intervals.

We are also affiliated to Ipswich Ladies Clubs, where we join members from other clubs in various social activities spread over the year.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
