Information - Vinyl Communion: Healthy Boy + Night Folk

Join Us for a Soul-Cleansing Night of Vinyl

Is there a better way to spend a Thursday evening than with the warm, crackling sound of records spinning in a beautiful setting? We don’t think so! Get ready to “cleanse your soul” as Vinyl Communion returns to The Church in the heart of Ipswich. It’s the perfect mid-week escape for music lovers and anyone looking for a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

On the Decks: Healthy Boy + Night Folk

This week, we are treated to a special double-bill of talent. Healthy Boy and Night Folk will be taking over the turntables, spinning an eclectic mix of tracks all night long. Because it’s an all-vinyl set, you can expect that authentic, rich sound that only physical records can provide. Whether you’re a serious collector or just looking for some great background vibes while you catch up with friends, these two will have the perfect soundtrack ready for you.

Cocktails, Beer, and Bites

The Church is more than just a music venue; it’s a fantastic place to unwind. Throughout the night, the bar will be serving up a curated selection of cocktails, craft beers, and refreshments. To keep you going, there will also be plenty of delicious nibbles available.

If you fancy starting your evening a little earlier, or even if you need a cool space to work from during the day, the Church Cafe/Bar is open from 12:00pm. Feel free to head down early, grab a coffee, and claim your spot before the music kicks off in the evening.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
