On Thursday 3rd September 2026, the gorgeous venue The Church is hosting Vinyl Communion: Frisco Arts Club for a night of pure vinyl magic.
The best part? It’s completely FREE entry! So mark your calendars, gather your friends, and get ready for a brilliant evening of great tunes, delicious drinks, and laid-back vibes.
The Sound of California Curated
For this special Vinyl Communion, Frisco Arts Club will be taking us on a musical road trip through the Golden State. Spanning from the 1960s all the way to the present day, the DJ set will trace the sounds and spirit of the American West Coast across the decades.
Expect a dreamlike journey weaving together:
- Sun-soaked surf music and garage rock
- Folk-rock pioneers like The Byrds
- Modern psychedelic sounds from the likes of Allah-Las
- Dreamy, cinematic soundscapes
Inspired by California’s endless beaches, dusty deserts, winding canyons, and open highways, this carefully curated vinyl set perfectly captures the state’s famous laid-back atmosphere and enduring sense of freedom. It’s the ultimate late-summer soundtrack!
Drinks, Nibbles and All-Day Vibes
The Church Cafe/Bar will be open from 12pm if you fancy dropping in early. When the main event kicks off at 7pm, you can enjoy a fantastic selection of cocktails, crisp beers, and tasty nibbles while the vinyl spins all night long. It’s the perfect way to unwind on a Thursday evening.
