The film
Journalist Joe Frady (Warren Beatty) investigates a senator’s assassination after witnesses start dying in suspicious circumstances. His search uncovers a shadowy corporation tied to political manipulation, and as the conspiracy widens Frady finds himself caught in a system determined to silence him.
It’s one of the defining paranoid thrillers of the 1970s, and it plays very differently on a big screen than it does at home.
