Queen Bee Sip & Paint Party At The Nelson, Ipswich

🎨 The Funky Easel Sip & Paint Party: Queen Bee 🐝

Get ready to unwind, laugh, and paint the night away at our first Funky Easel paint party of 2026!

Join us on Wednesday, 7th January 2026 at the Lord Nelson in Ipswich for an evening of creativity, connection, and pure artistic joy.

This month’s painting — Queen Bee — is a celebration of feminine strength, community, and creative flow. Surrounded by soft golds, honey tones, and gentle movement, she’s a reminder that even the smallest steps can create something beautifully whole — and that we all shine a little brighter together. ✨

No experience needed — just bring your curiosity! I’ll guide you step-by-step as you create your own masterpiece in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

So grab a drink, pick up a paintbrush, and lose yourself in colour, conversation, and creativity. Come solo or gather your friends — either way, you’ll leave with a full heart and a painting you’ll be proud of.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of ÂŁ20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
