The digital era has given us many wonderful things; we can now easily access a choice of music greater than any before in human history. However, with abundance, comes bad habits… We no longer take the time to digest a whole album or listen without any other distractions. All too often, music serves as the background to other activities rather than being centre stage.
The Deep Listening Toolkit has been developed to identify and undo these new challenges and rekindle your relationship with music. Through a high-fidelity, all-vinyl soundtrack, veteran DJ, producer and creative Marcus Harris-Noble offers practical activities you can try out yourself and take home to ‘deep listen’ in a lighthearted presentation that will inform, educate and, above all, entertain.
