The roads we travel …. the doors we open …. and the bridges we dare to cross ….

A sweeping musical romance of desire and sacrifice based on the best-selling novel by Robert James Waller.
After marrying an American soldier to escape Italy at the end of World War II, Francesca builds herself a home in Iowa, raising two children and settling into a steady but unremarkable routine. The path of her future seems destined. Then an unexpected fork in the road causes her to question everything she had come to expect from life. One day, she meets Robert, a charismatic photographer, who awakens her passion and changes her life forever.
