Information - Stadium Sleepout returns for 2026
Ipswich Town Foundation is delighted to announce the return of the Stadium Sleepout, hosted in association with Emmaus Suffolk, on Friday, 2 October.
Emmaus Suffolk is a local charity which supports vulnerable and isolated people across the county facing long-term unemployment, poverty and homelessness. The charity provides affordable meals, daily wellbeing hubs, training opportunities and supported accommodation to help people improve their lives.
The Sleepout is designed to raise awareness of homelessness, and to raise funds that will have a direct impact on combatting homelessness in Suffolk, with last year’s event raising over £13,500 to support both charities.
During the event, participants will once again be given a unique opportunity to sleep at Portman Road within the stadium bowl, with participants to be situated in the lower Sir Alf Ramsey Stand.
The evening will involve a range of different activities, including a tour of the stadium, as well as a panel discussion which aims to provide information and awareness on homelessness in Suffolk.
Hot food and refreshments will be available throughout the event, with more information on this and the night’s itinerary to follow.
All participants must be aged 18 or over, with entry costing £30 per person. As well as this, those taking part will be set a fundraising target of £100 each.
If you and your business are interested in doing the stadium sleepout we have an exclusive business rate available, these packages will require a minimum of 8 participants. If you want to find more information about this, please contact noah.britnell@itfcfoundation.co.uk.
An information pack will be provided following registration to the event.
All funds raised from the event will be split evenly between the Foundation and Emmaus Suffolk, supporting both charities’ crucial work across the county.
