Information - Pre and Post Match Drinks

Match days in Ipswich are always something special, and on Saturday 21st March, the atmosphere is set to be better than ever! If you are looking for the perfect base for your match day ritual, look no further than the stunning surroundings of The Church.

Pre-Match Prep and Post-Match Debriefs

Whether you’re looking to soak up the pre-game build-up or want somewhere to celebrate (or commiserate!) after the final whistle, The Church is the place to be. Unlike usual match days, they are staying open for the long haul—from 10am right through until 10pm.

It’s the ideal “drinking hole” for fans who want a comfortable, friendly environment to discuss tactics before kick-off or analyze every play once the game is over.

What’s on Tap?

The Church has something for everyone, no matter what time you drop in. They’ll be serving up a great range of refreshments throughout the day and evening, including:

  • Chilled Beers: Perfect for a pre-match toast or an evening celebratory pint.
  • Barista-Style Hot Drinks: If you need a caffeine kick to get you going in the morning or a tea to warm up after the game, they have you covered.

Make a Day of It

Located right in the heart of town, The Church offers a unique and atmospheric setting that you won’t find anywhere else. It’s a fantastic spot to gather your fellow supporters, grab a drink, and enjoy the community spirit that makes Ipswich match days so iconic.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
