Ever wondered about the famous faces and intriguing stories of the historic Great White Horse Hotel?

Found yourself wondering what’s happening behind the doors right now?

Excited about what it might become in the future?

Now is your chance to find out and have your say! 

For two days only, take a sneak peak inside the inner courtyard of the Great White Horse. Explore the past, present and future of this historic Ipswich landmark with our pop-up If these walls could speak… exhibition, explore the hotel’s old visitor books and add your voice to our bank of ideas for the future of the building.

This fully illustrated exhibition includes historic archive images and Ipswich maps, autographs from the Beatles collected by the Night Porter, creative work by students at Northgate High School and insights about the hotel’s most famous resident: Charles Dickens.

Please note: there are no tours of the building running during the pop-up event. If you wish to be informed about tours and future events, there will be an opportunity for sign-ups during the exhibition.
