Young Oliver dares to ask for more and is thrust into a thrilling adventure that sees him travel from rural Suffolk to bustling Victorian London, a journey filled with danger, humour and hope. Told through the eyes of four workhouse children living in the Plomesgate Union Workhouse, just outside Wickham Market, the story blends regional history with one of literature’s most loved classics.
