Information - Music at the Museum: Trianon Music Group

Join us on Saturday 9th May at 3pm for a very special performance in Ipswich Museum at an exciting stage in the redevelopment project. String players from Trianon’s Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Ian McCrae, will perform works including Handel’s Concerto Grosso in B Minor, Grieg’s Two Elegiac Melodies and Jenkins’ Palladio. The programme will reprise music previously played to celebrate the life of Trianon’s Artistic Director. The concert will last for an hour and by followed by a tour of the building, giving you a chance to see the newly transformed gallery spaces in the Museum.

This event is suitable for ages 5+. Doors open at 2:30pm for a 3pm start. This event will be taking place in Ipswich Museum, which is fully accessible. Please let us know if you have access needs prior to the event date by emailing Ipswichmuseum.Events@colchester.gov.uk.
