Information - Mosaic Festive Decoration with Ceramicist Emma Jayne Robertson

Join ceramicist Emma Jayne Robertson at Stoke Library and create your own festive mosaic masterpiece! This is part of The Blank Page Project which offers high-quality creative workshops for 10-16 year olds during the school holidays.

Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include lunch, drinks and snacks!

Book this workshop on Eequ →

In this workshop, you will get to design and create your own seasonal work of art, using a mixture of broken ceramic and glass pieces, along with glass gems, buttons and more. You will have a choice of a star or wreath shaped base for your mosaic and Emma will support and guide you through the designing and making process to create your mosaic decoration. You will use ready mixed grout and adhesive to apply the mosaic pieces, so you will be able to take the work home at the end of the day to display for the festive season. (There may be a little bit of polishing up to complete once you get home!)

Please bring an apron or old shirt to protect your clothes (we have disposable ones available if needed).
