Information - Mini Minster Maestros

An exciting opportunity for the younger ones in your family to come along to our new community choir in Ipswich for children aged 5 – 8! Perfect for those who love their music and want to make the most of their talents!

Sign up for weekly singing sessions on Wednesdays 4.15-5pm in term time.

This fun and informal choir is an excellent place to begin or continue a child’s musical journey.  The group focuses on giving young voices confidence to sing and use their voices well. We teach the importance of using their bodies when singing and introduce rhythm work and basic notation.

Taking a theme every couple of weeks – such as Harvest; Christmas; world music; nature or trains! – children learn songs by heart (with and without actions).  Arts and crafts projects are often interwoven with the songs they are learning.

There are informal performance opportunities throughout the year such as at the Trees at the Tower Festival each December.

Led by Tracey and Pippa, sessions take place in the Song School at Tower House (17 Tower Street – opposite the church)

To sign up and for more information email Revd. Pippa Scott MiniMinsterMaestros@ipswichminster.org
