Information - Mayor’s town centre Guided Tour & Curry Night

The Mayor and Mayoress of Ipswich, Councillor Elango Elavalakan and Mrs Manchula Elavalakan, are delighted to invite you to their first fundraising event of the Mayoral year, a guided walk for an hour around Ipswich Town Centre, followed by a delicious set meal at the Chennai Dosa Restaurant.

Join them on Sunday 14 July, setting off from the Cornhill at 5.30pm, to learn about the development of our County town from an expert guide, and take in the history and heritage that is all around us as you walk through the town centre.

We meet in front of the Town Hall on the Cornhill to start the walk at 17:30 and will eat at the Chennai Dosa Restaurant from 18.30. While your ticket pays for the meal, there will be a payable bar available during the evening.

There will also be a charity raffle, with all proceeds from the raffle going to the Mayor’s charities, Cancer Support Suffolk and Genesis Orwell Mencap.
