Jonathan Agnew, affectionately known as “Aggers,” is one of cricket’s most beloved voices and enduring personalities. A former England fast bowler who played for Leicestershire from 1979 to 1990, Agnew transitioned seamlessly into broadcasting, where he became the cornerstone of BBC’s Test Match Special.
His commentary—equal parts insightful and mischievously witty—has captured the imagination of cricket fans for decades.
