Information - Luke Fisher & The Ghost Tides / The Frestonians / Ross Stewart

Come along to The Smokehouse for a fantastic evening of home-grown indie talent! Frestonia Records is proud to present a triple-bill showcase featuring some of the most exciting acts currently making waves in the East Anglian music scene.

Whether you’re a fan of weathered Americana, high-energy punk, or soulful indie folk, there is something in this lineup for every music lover in Ipswich.

The Lineup

Luke Fisher & The Ghost Tides
Headlining the night are Ipswich’s own indie-alternative powerhouse. They perfectly blend the grit of restless punk with a weathered Americana soul. Following the success of their debut single, Bathside, the band has become known for their “dark alternative” sound that feels deeply rooted in our East Anglian coastline.

The Frestonians
This local indie duo brings a massive sound to the stage, fusing raw punk energy with melodic new wave vibes reminiscent of The Cure and PJ Harvey. With award-nominated songwriting and a reputation for electrifying live performances, they are a must-see staple of our local scene.

Ross Stewart
Joining us from Norwich, Scottish-born artist Ross Stewart brings a change of pace with his seraphic indie folk. Blending visceral emotional honesty with Americana roots, Ross has been championed by BBC Introducing and is known for his captivating, sold-out headline shows. You won’t want to miss the chance to hear tracks from his debut EP, Purpose.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
