Information - Ipswich Museum Behind the Scenes Tours

Join us for a special opportunity to look behind the scenes at Ipswich Museum. Explore our new gallery spaces at an exciting stage of our redevelopment and learn all about the transformation the building has undergone so far.

Daytime tours will be taking place from 10am – 3pm on Sunday 10 May, Tuesday 11 May, Wednesday 13 May, Saturday 16 May and Sunday 17 May.

Evening tours will be taking place from 3pm – 7:30pm on Monday 11 May, Thursday 14 May and Friday 15 May. Each tour will last approximately an hour.

Please note that you will be let into the Museum at your chosen tour time. Please wait outside of the building until you are greeted by a member of staff.

Suitable for ages 5+. This event will be taking place in the newly renovated Ipswich Museum, which is fully accessible. Please let us know if you have access needs prior to the event date by emailing Ipswichmuseum.Events@colchester.gov.uk.
