A Night of Gothic Rock and Post-Punk

Ipswich, prepare for a night of brooding melodies and darkwave atmospheres! Off-Beat Promotions is bringing an incredible double-header to town, featuring two of the UK’s most respected contemporary gothic rock acts: Grooving in Green and Senex IV. Whether you’re a lifelong goth fan or just love the energy of post-punk, this is a Saturday night lineup you won’t want to miss.

Meet the Bands

Grooving in Green are well-known in the UK scene for their perfect blend of darkwave atmosphere and high-energy post-punk. Since emerging in the early 2010s, they’ve built a reputation for immersive live performances that balance intensity with cinematic synth textures and melodic basslines. Having graced the stages of major alternative festivals across the UK and Europe, we are thrilled to have them bringing their evocative sound to our local stage.

Joining them are Senex IV, a band that has been a staple of the underground alternative scene since the early 2000s. Known for their dark, atmospheric sound, they mix classic gothic rock aesthetics with industrial textures and poetic lyricism. Their emotionally intense performances have earned them a dedicated following, and they continue to push the boundaries of the genre while staying true to its moody roots.
