Get Ready to Dance: Factory Floor Returns to The Church

Ipswich music lovers, mark your calendars! The much-loved Factory Floor is back for another night dedicated to the dance floor. If you’re looking for a way to kick-start your weekend with incredible tunes and an unbeatable atmosphere, The Church is the place to be this March.

Factory Floor is a DJ-led night that dives deep into the sounds of Post-Punk, New Wave, and Left-Field Groove. It’s the perfect spot to lose yourself in the music, whether you’re a long-time fan of the scene or just looking for something a bit different from the usual Friday night out.

The Line-up and Sound

We have a fantastic trio of DJs taking over the decks to provide the soundtrack for the evening. This month features sets from:

  • Dee Fuller
  • Marcus Hex
  • Grinny (from Transient Radio)

Expect to hear a carefully curated mix of tracks from legendary artists such as New Order, Talking Heads, ESG, LCD Soundsystem, Happy Mondays, ACR, Talk Talk, Simple Minds, Gang of Four, and Depeche Mode. It’s going to be a masterclass in grooves that were built for moving!

Everything You Need to Know

The best part? Entry is completely free! Just show up, grab a drink, and enjoy the music.

  • Date: Friday 27 March 2026
  • Time: 6:00pm – 10:00pm

Accessibility at The Church

The Church is a fully accessible venue, ensuring that everyone in our community can enjoy the night. There is step-free access into the building, and once you are inside, the bar, the dance floor, and the accessible toilets are all located on the same level. If you have any specific questions about access or need any assistance for your visit, the venue team is always happy to help—just get in touch with the organisers through their website or social media.

We can’t wait to see you on the tiles. Let’s make it a night to remember!

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
