The event will be held in the University of Suffolk Waterfront Building located to the north of the University’s Ipswich Atrium Building. The Atrium Building is a short 15-minute walk from Ipswich train station. • By Bus - The Atrium building is served via regular busses operated by First Busses and Ipswich Busses with stops on St. Helen's Street, Grimwade Street and Fore Hamlet. • By Bike - There are undercover bike racks available for your use at the Atrium Building (no liability is accepted) • By Car - Please note, there is no onsite parking for this event. Parking at the Atrium building is privately controlled for permit holders only. An ANPR camera fining system is in operation which is not under the University’s control. Public car parking is available at the following locations (subject to availability):  Duke Street Car Park – Duke Street, Ipswich, IP3 0BF , Fore Street Car Park – Fore Street, Ipswich, IP4 1JZ ,  NCP - Foundation Street, Ipswich IP4 1BN Onsite parking arrangements can be made for disabled visitors and blue badge holders by contacting engage@uos.ac.uk with vehicle registration, make and model.

Purpose: ‘Of the People, For the People’

Our purpose is to create an inclusive, supportive, and empowering community for entrepreneurs and business professionals. We aim to bridge gaps in resources, skills, and opportunities, fostering an environment where people can thrive, challenge the status quo, and achieve their full potential.

It aims to connect university users to the wider community (and visa-versa) in terms of business support, knowledge exchange, work collaborations, training and education, experience sharing and network building.

Mission:

Our mission is to build a vibrant, inclusive network that provides business owners, entrepreneurs, community groups and students with the tools, resources, and support needed to succeed in business. We are a women-led community dedicated to offering a safe space for knowledge exchange, mentorship, and skill development for all, while addressing unique challenges faced by women in business. Through innovative initiatives, collaborative partnerships, and continuous growth opportunities, we strive to create a community that celebrates diversity, promotes equity, and drives success for all its members.

Please join us in celebrating the launch of a new programme of taster sessions tailored to tackling the challenges women in business look to overcome, and discover;

  • Programme of taster sessions for a range of business growth/development areas
  • Further training and education sessions,
  • Knowledge exchange events,
  • Network building and social opportunities
  • Join the buddy scheme (as a student or mentor)
