Information - Creative Connections

Are you a local creative or working in the culture sector here in Ipswich? We have the perfect evening lined up for you to meet like-minded people, share your big ideas, and maybe even find your next collaborator!

What is Creative Connections?

Creative Connections is our brand-new monthly DIY get-together designed specifically for the Ipswich creative community. Whether you’re an artist, a musician, a designer, or working behind the scenes in culture, this is your space to connect. It’s all about networking in a relaxed, friendly environment. Come along to chat about your latest projects, showcase what you’ve been working on, and make those all-important local connections.

To make things even better, you can take full advantage of Happy Hour at the bar while you mingle!

Led by Brighten The Corners

We are thrilled that this first session will be led by Marcus Harris-Noble from Brighten The Corners. This will be an informal, welcoming session where everyone is encouraged to participate. If you’re interested in chatting about your work or showcasing something at a future session, be sure to speak to the organisers on the night – they are even happy to arrange a projector if you need one!

Vinyl Communion & Evening Vibes

The fun doesn’t stop when the networking finishes! From 7pm, stay with us as Modern Athletics takes over for that week’s Vinyl Communion. Expect a fantastic atmosphere with sets spinning the best in electronic, house, garage, and bass music. It’s the perfect way to transition from a productive afternoon to a great night out.

Accessibility Information

We want everyone to feel welcome at Creative Connections. The Church offers step-free access into the venue. Once inside, the bar, the main venue area, and the accessible toilets are all located on the same floor for your convenience. If you have any specific requirements to make your visit more comfortable, please get in touch with the venue organisers.

You Don’t Need To Be An Expert To Get Involved In Pride in Place

One of the biggest misconceptions about community projects is that they're only for people with impressive CVs, professional backgrounds or years of experience sitting on committees. The Pride in Place programme - a government investment for Whitehouse and Stoke Park/Chantry of £20m into each area over 10 years - is trying to change that.
