Information - Breaking Barriers Conference

Exciting news – we’re hosting our first Breaking Barriers Conference!

If you are someone working with children and families affected by imprisonment in the East of England (and beyond), this is a must-attend event.

We’ll have Paul Cowley MBE , Iceland Foods Director of Rehabilitation speaking about how the company is helping offenders get work after prison and how that strengthens families.

David Breakspear will be speaking about his time in prison and the impact it can have on children and families.

Isabella Boyce from University of Suffolk will discuss the latest research into rehabilitation and desistance and what works in relation to the importance of family ties and community connections.

We’ll also have members of our Breaking Barriers service sharing what it is really like for families when a loved one goes to prison.

If you are someone passionate about finding solutions to problems in our prison system, and supporting children and families affected by imprisonment, make sure you are there.
