Information - Blank Page – Write a song in a day workshop with Ben Brown and Catalina Carvajal

Join this 1-day songwriting workshop and go on a creative journey with musician Ben Brown and artist Catalina Carvajal to write and record your very own song and create cover art at this creative workshop for 10-16 year olds at Ipswich County Library, as part of The Blank Page Project!

Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include a free lunch, drinks and snacks!

In this workshop we will explore songwriting; rhythm, rhyming and harmony as well as visual arts. Together we will write a song by brainstorming ideas and using a variety of creative techniques and games. – Once created, we will then record the song in the space. We will also cocreate a piece of cover art to accompany the track. The completed tracks will be uploaded to Bandcamp as part of the Blank Page EP which can be downloaded for free (individual participants will not be named).
