Information - Blank Page – Wooden photography artwork workshop with Gillian Allard

Join photographic artist Gillian Allard for this free creative workshop for 10-16 year olds at Ipswich County Library, as part of The Blank Page Project! Learn how to create expressive self-portraits using iPads and apps, and then bonding to OSB wood and finishing with paint.

Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include a free lunch, drinks and snacks!

We will be working together to create photographs that express something about ourselves. This can be a done by taking self-portraits and overlaying these images with other photographs, (personal or new) to make double exposures in an app. These will be bonded to the surface of OSB board to create a unique artwork – they will then be varnished ready to take home at the end of the session.
