Information - Blank Page – Paper pages workshop with Hannah Fletcher

Join visual artist and passionate nature conservationist Hannah Fletcher for this free creative workshop for 10-16 year olds at Gainsborough Community Library, as part of The Blank Page Project! Learn how to make your own paper from scratch using 100% recycled materials and interweave decorative natural elements such as petals, leaves and seeds.

Workshops take place from 9.45AM to 3.30PM and include a free lunch, drinks and snacks!

Come along to this workshop and learn how to make your very own Blank Page… from scratch! Hannah will guide you through each stage of the papermaking process: from forming a pulp of your choice of colours and materials, to creating beautiful and unique sheets of paper. We will also explore different uses for our handmade paper, such as making cards from seed paper that can later be planted in the ground! You’ll then get to take away a set of instructions and some pulp mix so that you can make your own paper at home without needing any extra equipment.
