About the film

Pedro Almodóvar’s Bitter Christmas alternates between two narratives: one following Elsa, an advertising director, during a December weekend, and another featuring Raúl, a screenwriter adapting Elsa’s story.

The film narrates the close relationship between reality and fiction, between inspiration and life, exploring the limits of autofiction. Bárbara Lennie, Aitana Sánchez-Gijón and Rossy de Palma star.
