£6 per person. Hour-long sessions at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm on Monday 21 December 2026. Age 3+ recommended. Babies in arms free but cannot handle the animals. 40 places per session — booking essential.
Information - Amazing Animals: Christmas!
The live animals return to Christchurch Mansion for a festive edition, just before Christmas. Families can meet the animals up close and learn how different species adapt and survive.
Who you might meet
Rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hamsters, gerbils, hedgehogs and sugar gliders are all in the mix — the final line-up depends on how the animals are doing on the day.
Good to know
Monday 21 December 2026, with hour-long sessions at 10.30am, 11.30am, 12.30pm, 2pm and 3pm. Tickets are £6 per person. Recommended for children aged three and above; babies in arms do not need a ticket but cannot touch the animals. Parents and carers must stay throughout.
