About Friends of Belstead Brook Park

Friends of Belstead Brook Park (FoBBP) is a group of volunteers set up in 2002 who help look after the Park for the benefit of local people and wildlife. We work closely with the Greenways Countryside Project, Ipswich Wildlife Group and other partners

Belstead Brook Park is situated on the south-west side of Ipswich, running along the inside of the A14 and following Belstead Brook. It includes Belstead Meadows, Spring Wood, Millennium Wood, Bobbits Lane Meadows, Ashground Plantation, Ostrich Meadows, Bourne Reedbeds and Bourne Park. The park has a wide variety of habitats from reedbeds and wet meadows to ancient woodland and grassland.
